Oh yea, and life updates and stuff... I'll be quick, I'm in a bit of a hurry. I work at Gamestop now (love it!), along with Ross, and uhhhh... FC is coming up, can't wait! X3 Marf

Marf, Cody and I have been looking into getting new cell phones recently. He hasn't had a working cell phone to call his own for months and it's been getting to both of us, and my cell phone that I've had for 2 years now has become a piece of garbage by this point. It was gorgeous and perfect when I first bought it, but somehow the ram degenerated over time or something like that, and now it's slow and laggy and has trouble performing the most basic of cell phone tasks x.x So, we had decided to look into getting new phones and being on a family plan together.

After much looking around and consideration here and there, I've decided that I know what I want, and he's decided on what he'd probably want X3 I'm going to get a T-mobile Mytouch with Google, and he wants the G1 =D

We both like the Android OS a lot, having played with it on a friend's G1 before. We also like how the phones perform and function, and we know that while T-mobile isn't the best service out there, it definitely gets the job done. I checked the service area maps and we're more than covered of course X3 Always a good idea to check though!

Now the only problem is saving up... I thought that with Cody and I working at both Blockbuster and our second jobs (him at Port of Subs, me at Ross), we'd have PLENTY of money. But ever since we got our second jobs, Blockbuster has decided to schedule us nothing. It's really been getting to me; I was all excited to work 2 jobs and have 2 paychecks, but that just isn't happening. There have been rumors that Blockbuster is going to fire everyone and replace them as well, and considering all the group interviews my co-workers have told me about that have been happening in the store, it's probably going to happen. I mean, our store manager was already fired o.o and he's been with the company for like, over 10 years.

I want us to get new phones so bad XP I wish we could actually get some hours at Blockbuster and have 2 proper paychecks so we could save up faster, but we can't right now I guess =\

Marf X3 In other news, I will probably have some friends over today later on. That's always fun! *wags*

Marf, working at Ross feels very weird to me. I've never worked a job like Loss Prevention before. Basically, I'm there to maintain a presence that customers see as a stopper for theft. I don't run a register, I don't help people carry things or get watches or perfumes from the locked cabinets. Heck, I won't even walk someone to an item they're having trouble finding. I'm just there to intimidate, to display that the store is watching for theft X3 I never thought of myself as intimidating (I'm of a funny/cute and huggable sort, I think), but I guess my boss sees me differently XD

As for me liking the job, that's weird too. It can be very, VERY boring at times, and having hours at 2 different workplaces is a bit tiring sometimes; It can turn into quite a workload... But my co-workers are for the most part awesome =3 I've only been there for a week and I already feel like I've made really good friends. I can't wait for an opportunity to hang out with some of them! *wags*

As for other stuff, Cody and I are going with our friend Angel to a get-together at a pizza place called... Old Chicago, I think. I've never had "Chicago-style" pizza before, but I've been told it's thick. Like, really thick. Like, I'm hungry just thinking about it, and I ate pretty recently X3 Marf, I'm excited! I hope there's plenty of cool people to meet there, too ^^ I'm looking forward to it!

Marf, they told me I'll be "moving forward" at the end of the interview. I can't see that as anything but "you got the job" ^^ I am eagerly waiting for the phone call =D
